This main concept of this project is the use of natural coolants and energetic efficiency. The cascade refrigeration system combines NH3 evaporating at -10⁰C on the higher side with freezing CO2 evaporating at -35⁰C. This configuration prevents the use of HFC refrigerators. This project has also taken into account the use of residual thermal energy in order to heat water.
