In 2011, Isofred was contracted to reform and improve the ice rink in Vielha with a pumping system. With this new machine, the rink reaches a uniform temperature throughout, which generates ice with optimal temperatures, and therefore optimal hardness. This created perfect conditions for skating and other ice-related sports like curling and ice hockey.
