We developed the expansion of a centre dedicated to food distribution logistics, located in the Aragonese Pyrenees area.
In 2017, it was commissioned using ammonia and food glycol.
In this new phase, the capacity of the facilities is increased with the addition of two new spaces dedicated to the Picking and preservation of vegetables, with a power of 100 kWF working at -8 °C.
The property wanted to continue its ecological and efficient approach to the cooling of its new rooms, by selecting the refrigerant R-290 and food glycol, which flows through a network of pipes made of Georg Fisher’s innovative technology, polyethylene material pre-insulated with polyurethane, a combination that guarantees proper insulation and low weight. In addition to these features, an optimum thermofusion jointing system, suitable for this type of material, minimises the risk of refrigerant leakage.
