Preservation of a variety of fruits and banana ripening in MERCAZARAGOZA.
Technical Project Basis
The project was completed together with the Office of Architecture and Engineering GLOBAL PROYECTOS through getting the main lines of the cooling system and the basic elements that make it up.
The cooling system will be a steam mechanic compression system with direct HFC R-134-a coolant expansion. It will also include air condensation and forced convection evaporators. This system centralizes services in all 8 of the fruit rooms, including the requirements of the 6 preservation rooms and banana ripening.
The fruit preservation cooling rooms are built for the use of roof or overhead evaporators. They are placed in the center of the rooms, with the capability of refrigerating 5 tons more than their normal maximum load for the cases in which it is necessary to maintain an extra truck load cool.
The banana rooms are designed in a traditional manner, from its physical structure and its cooling system to its ripening system at pallet height.
