What 25 years have taught us
Beyond the individual projects, a quarter of a century working for the same territory leaves lessons that are now part of how we work:
1. Preventive maintenance is always cheaper than corrective repairs. An unplanned stoppage at the height of the fruit season, or in a slaughterhouse running at full capacity, costs far more than a serious maintenance contract. Clients who have been with us for years know it: the breakdown that never happens is the most profitable one.
2. Proximity is measured in response time, not kilometres. A 24-hour contract is worth exactly what it takes the engineer to reach the plant. Working from Alcoletge lets us cover the Lleida–Huesca–Zaragoza corridor with real response times, with spare parts and with prior knowledge of every facility.
The question that sums it up
The right question is not “do you have a 24-hour service?”, but “where does the engineer set out from, and how long does it take them to reach my plant on a Saturday at 4 a.m.?”. We have spent 25 years answering it with facts.
3. Natural refrigerants have gone from a bet to the only way forward. The F-Gas Regulation timetable restricts high-GWP HFCs year after year. We have been working with ammonia (NH₃) and CO₂ for decades: what used to be a speciality is now the standard answer for new plants and future-proof retrofits.
4. Control makes the difference. Facilities with SCADA and remote management are not just easier to supervise: they make it possible to move from reactive to predictive maintenance, catching deviations in consumption or temperature before they turn into breakdowns.
